HGGT is delighted to be representing both the local area and the project’s five council partners in the Best Digital Community Engagement category at the Archiboo Awards 2022.
Your Quality of Life is the shortlisted project and congratulations go to our work partners: Quality of Life Foundation, Rainbow Services Harlow, Stantec and Commonplace.
Launched in 2016, the Archiboo Awards encourages and champions creative storytellers – from podcasters and videographers to writers and designers – who are stimulating new ideas and conversations around architecture.
Funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the Your Quality of Life project has placed local people centre stage since July, giving everyone the opportunity to comment via an interactive map about their own wellbeing and day-to-day lives, from local nature and travel to health and community.
“Funding from Government is allowing us to break the mould of how local people can influence changes in their area with the Your Quality of Life project,” commented Garden Town Director, Naisha Polaine, at the launch.
“It means we can be innovative in not only speaking with residents and businesses in the Harlow & Gilston Garden Town area but in collating and analysing the results as well.”
