Latton Priory lies to the south of Harlow and sits within Epping Forest District. The site adjoins the existing Harlow boundary and is allocated for around 1,050 new homes, alongside community facilities including a new secondary school, primary school and nursery/pre-school facilities. The Latton Priory development will also provide an element of employment land which will provide opportunities for new, high quality, jobs within the Garden Town.

The site will be connected to Harlow Town Centre, Harlow Town railway station the wider Garden Town by safe and attractive pedestrian and cycling routes as well as a rapid bus service which will run along a dedicated corridor.

The land is controlled by Hallam Land Management Limited and Commercial Estates Projects Limited who are Land Promoters.

The land at Latton Priory is proposed for development as part of the Garden Town within Epping Forest District’s Submission Local Plan. The Local Plan is currently awaiting the outcome of an Examination in Public, which was held earlier in the year.
