HGGT’s active travel partner, Sustrans, held a Walk and Wheel into Christmas event at the Discover Harlow hub last week.
Family activities included included badge and bike themed Christmas decoration making.
Custodians of the national cycling network, Sustrans are a walking, wheeling and cycling charity who are working in Harlow primary schools on behalf of HGGT to get children enthused and excited about active travel.
The Sustrans team and Cllr Alastair Gunn spoke to residents about how they get around Harlow, barriers to active travel and what infrastructure they’d like to see in the future.
Sustrans are also asking people to donate unwanted winter coats which will be given to those in need.
Drop your coat donation at the Discover Harlow hub before Christmas on December 19, 10am – 2pm.
