In response to the Latton Priory/health services debate at North Weald Bassett Parish Council earlier this week and the subsequent news stories on Your Harlow and Everything Epping Forest, we can confirm that:
Our five council partners are all committed to community and social infrastructure in the new Garden Town neighbourhoods.
A health centre for Latton Priory remains under discussion with the local Integrated Care Partnership who advise on such matters.
The debate at North Weald Bassett Parish Council followed the launch of the Latton Priory masterplan consultation last month, one of four proposed new neighbourhoods for Harlow & Gilston Garden Town.
