An Outline Planning Application has been submitted to Epping Forest District Council for the proposed Garden Town development at Latton Priory and a consultation on the plans is now open.
Submitted by Commercial Estates Projects Ltd and Hallam Land, the Latton Priory proposal is for:
Up to 1,340 homes
Primary and secondary schools
Mixed-use local centre
Greenspaces including playing fields
New highway, cycle and pedestrian routes
Residential care and supported accommodation
One of five council partners making up the Garden Town partnership, Epping Forest District Council’s planning committee will consider the application on a date to be confirmed.
The consultation period closes on the October 11, 2024.
