Transport works for the Central Stort Crossing North scheme are progressing.
As part of these works, Places for People has advised that lane closures and traffic management will be in place around the Eastwick Roundabout and the A414 / Eastwick Road.
These were due to begin on Monday 22 June and will be in place in phases throughout the works programme.
This means drivers might experience longer queues when travelling around the Eastwick Roundabout and the A414 / Eastwick Road.
We understand that works of this scale can be disruptive and everyone involved is working to minimise impacts, keep roads moving as much as possible, and provide regular updates so you can plan ahead.
The Central Stort Crossing North scheme is part of wider plans to improve how people travel around Harlow and the surrounding area – making it easier and safer to get around by walking, cycling and public transport, as well as by car.
The scheme is being brought forward by a joint venture between Places for People and Barratt Redrow, with construction carried out by Natta, on behalf of the Harlow & Gilston Garden Town partnership.
