The seven-week closure of Eastwick Road is due to come to an end on Saturday 7 November, with the road reopening following the scheduled completion of this important phase of works.
The closure has allowed essential utilities and drainage works to be carried out safely as part of the wider Central Stort Crossing North programme.
Central Stort Crossing North will create a new transport connection between the Gilston Area and Harlow, helping to improve connectivity, support sustainable travel and unlock new homes, jobs and community facilities as the area grows.
We know this closure has caused disruption for local residents, businesses, and road users, and we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time.
