The Harlow & Gilston Garden Town project has reached a new milestone with the launch of a dedicated website for the exciting plans.
The Garden Town project provides one of the most exciting growth opportunities of any place in the UK. It will result in the creation of exciting new communities in Harlow, will support the regeneration of Harlow and its town centre, and will help to deliver a significant increase in job opportunities in the Town.
East Herts, Epping Forest and Harlow District Councils are working together with Hertfordshire and Essex County Councils to plan and support delivery of the Garden Town. Over the last year, the Garden Town director has been working with the Councils to build a team of officers to support the planning and delivery of the Garden Town and the team is now all but complete.
The latest milestone saw the launch of this dedicated website for the project. Local residents, businesses, stakeholders and community groups can now visit this website, www.harlowandgilstongardentown.co.uk, to find out more about the developing plans for the Garden Town.
With detailed local consultations planned for the next few months, the website will also serve as a key hub for residents and stakeholders to find out about consultation events and to have their say.
